We are a non-denominational church featuring a blend of traditional and contemporary worship styles. We believe that God meant the Bible to be understood and that it offers real help and hope in our rapidly changing world. All that we do at Christ Community Church is aimed at deepening our relationship with God through His Son Jesus, and sharing His love with the world around us.

Christ Community Church Statement of Faith
[Scriptures taken from the New International Version
of the Bible]
1. We believe the Bible to be the
inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. (2 Timothy
3:15-17, 2 Peter 1:21)
2. We believein
one God as eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy
Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14, Matthew
3:16,17)
3. We believein the deity of
Jesus Christ; in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His
miracles, in His substitutionary and atoning death on the cross, in His
bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father,
and in His present priestly ministry. (Philippians 2:6-11, Matthew
1:22-23, 2 Corinthians 5:21, John 3:2, Isaiah 53:4-7, 1 Corinthians
15:3-8, Acts 2:32-33, Hebrews 7:21-25)
4. We
believe in a personal salvation through the atoning work and shed
blood of Jesus Christ. This salvation is for all who, by God's grace,
repent of sin and who, by faith, receive and confess Jesus Christ as
their personal Lord and Savior unto regeneration. (Ephesians 2:8-10, 2
Cor 5:17-21, Acts 3:19, Romans 10:9,10)
5. We
believe in sanctification, holiness of heart and the overcoming life
as God's design for every believer in Christ. (1 John 3:3-10, 2
Peter 1:3-8, 1 Peter 1:16-19, Romans 6:14-22)
6. We
believein the ministry of the Holy Spirit to the church as
Comforter, Guide (into all truth), and Enabler, empowering believers to
be witnesses unto Christ and bestowing upon them supernatural gifts as
He wills, to effectively minister both in and out of the church. This
ministry is best evidenced by the fruit of the Spirit in the life of the
believer. (John 14:15-17, Acts 1:8, 2:1-4, 11:15-17, 1 Corinthians
12:7-11, Galatians 5:22,23)
7. We believe that
is the responsibility of the Church to proclaim, teach, demonstrate and
spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ as His ambassadors until His return.
We affirm the ministry of the laity, who share with ordained clergy,
responsibility for building up the church and reaching out in mission
and service to the world. (Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 1:8, Romans
15:17-19, 2 Corinthians 5:20, Ephesians 4:11,12)
8. We
believe in Baptism following repentance and faith in Christ, and in
the regular observation of the Lord's supper as ordinances to be
practiced in the assembly. (Acts 2:38, Acts 8:12, 1 Cor 11:23)
9.
We believe in Christ's imminent personal return in power and
great glory, and in His present and everlasting dominion. (Acts
1:11, 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18, Revelation 19:11-16, Ephesians
1:20-22)
10. We believe in the resurrection of
both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection
of eternal life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of eternal
punishment. (Matthew 25:31-46, 1Corinthians 15:51-53, John 5:28,29,
Revelation 20:15, 21:8)
